Othman is a young Sudanese boy shaped by a life he never chose. Like Handala — the iconic symbol of endurance, innocence, and resistance — Othman stands as a voice for the countless children growing up amid conflict.
Born in Khartoum, Othman’s early life was filled with family, school, dreams, and the warmth of home. But as violence swept across Sudan, he became one of millions forced to flee. He experienced the heartbreak of losing his home, being separated from family members, and witnessing the collapse of the world he knew.
When the conflict reached his doorstep and RSF advances overran his neighborhood, Othman and his family escaped with almost nothing. They sought refuge in Al Fasher — a city that should have been a safe haven, but where conflict and loss followed them again.
Yet despite everything taken from him, Othman never lost what mattered most: his identity, his strength, and his hope for a peaceful Sudan.
Our clothing line honors Othman — and all children whose innocence endures even in the harshest of realities.

I’m excited to finally share this project I’ve been working on for the past 5–6 months. This project is deeply personal to me, and I’m grateful to finally be able to share it with all of you.
The inspiration began with Handala, the symbol of the resilience, courage, and unwavering spirit of Palestinian children. Handala inspired the creation of Othman—a young Sudanese boy who embodies those same qualities of strength, hope, and perseverance.
Unfortunately, we live in a world where millions of children are forced to flee their homes because of war and conflict. According to the UNHCR, of the 117.8 million forcibly displaced people worldwide, approximately 45 million are children under the age of 18. No innocent child should ever have to carry that burden.
That is why I created The Othman Project.
I have a direct line of communication with people on the ground in Sudan, allowing me to better understand where help is needed most. The goal is to use the revenue from the brand—after operational costs and necessary expenses—to provide direct support to displaced children and families affected by the conflict.
I also wanted to create something people would genuinely be proud to wear. I spent countless hours refining every design because I wanted this to be more than just a donation—it should be a value exchange.Every hoodie, T-shirt, and sticker is designed to tell a story.
Some of the pieces feature a QR code on the back. When scanned, it takes you to this page. By wearing it, you become an ambassador for children like Othman, helping share their stories and keep their voices alive. Every conversation the brand starts is another opportunity to spread awareness and inspire action.
As the brand grows, I’m committed to being transparent about where the money goes and sharing the impact we’re able to make together. I want everyone who supports this mission to know exactly how their purchase is making a difference.
